CTX PR960F Review |
In conclusion this monitor is a very good buy whatever you intend to use it for, be it either gaming or programming.
Running at a recommended resolution of 1280 x 1024 @100Hz this monitor provides excellent image quality although it does take a lot of fiddling with a variety of different settings to get it set up correctly.
The only other slight problem with this monitor was a slight whine when tested at 800 x 600 @160Hz, although you are not very likely to want to use this that often.
Overall once you get used to the guide wires on the FD Trinitron tube this monitor is as good as you can get at a price that isn't too high.
IIyama (Vision Master 451) and LG have models that are also worth looking at if you were to consider buying however for a monitor that has been around for quite a while now it still performs as well if not better than most of the competition.
Pros
